Teen Gym / Living Longer Living Stronger

Teen Gym is here at Bayfit Leisure Centre!

Monday and Wednesday afternoons.

4.00 - 5.00 pm
12-17 year olds

(Basic introduction into the gym and light weight training, with a fully
supervised program designed to teach participants correct
technique, with an emphasis on both group and individual training)

Recent studies have shown that obesity rates have increased dramatically in adolescents. Inactivity not only effects adolescents physically, but mentally too, causing lethargy, short attention spans and can even lead to depression.Teen Gym is designed to get teenagers interested in physical activity in a social environment, where they can learn about their bodies and the benefits of exercise first hand. Teen Gym is fun and exciting for your child to participate in, set in a controlled environment so they can improve their strength, fitness and general health and well being.

Living Longer Living Stronger (LLLS)

“Living Longer Living Stronger”, a program designed for over 50’s runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 to 11:30am in the Gym. During these times a LLLS Instructor is available to assist you if necessary.

As a LLLS participant you get regular consultations with an Instructor and a personalised program updated monthly.

To add to the excitement LLLS now has classes on Wednesday at 11:30 – 12:30am and Friday at 10:30 – 11:30am. Moving to classic tunes, these classes cater for all levels and are great fun!

Casual LLLS visits are $5 or for more information about a LLLS membership call the centre on (03) 9392 2222 and speak to a Membership Consultant.
